Finally, Frosty gave me a memento after months of feeding it Sushi! Haha. He’s the last cat I had to wait Memento for and I really tried to please it.

So, if you are open and accepts how the world is changing and believe that love wins, this movie tells you just how a love can blossom from a total stranger to someone whom you cannot live without.
WARNING: SPOILERS. If you have not seen this movie just yet and plans to, you still have a chance to close this window and wander somewhere else. I thank you for visiting but really this movie just can't be spoiled. I know I may over react but if I would watch this, I would watch this the first time and no knowledge about it.

OK, so if you are reading this maybe you just can't wait to know something about it. But I won't be spilling much. So, it's a love story, definitely, of two people who just met and eventually liked each other but not sure if they really did. Until one day, one of them let it out.
Call Me By Your Name would be one of my favorite movie of 2018. It was nothing but pure love and butterflies in my stomach. I remember how Elio looks at Oliver like he's just so happy that he can see him. Just loving him from afar, until they both know they love each other.
Plus, Italy is so beautiful. I wanted to go, right when I finished the movie. Every scene is amazing.
I also admire Luca's direction. I have read somewhere that they filmed the movie how the scene were taken, like it was sequential. So they know how the story goes, which goes next and it's like telling the story as it is. I love it. Everything. The cast.
And Timothee Chalamet. Who wouldn't love this kid. It's my first time to actually see him. His nominations in Golden Globes got me curious as well as the film. Armie Hammer. Didn't know until then and I'm glad I know him now. These two are amazing versatile actors.
So, I guess not much of a spoiler but I am telling you that it's worth watching. All the feels and just everything. Hard to explain. I am happy that I got to watch this wonderful film. Just love. <3

Ok, so I may not know who you are, nor where you're from, as long as you love me ang peg? Char! Anyhoo, to be honest, I do not know what to rant about hahaha. I just felt like this blog has been left out for quite sometime now and I don't get to see why I still keep this site though I rarely blog or update or do not even know if someone's still visiting. But my conscience whispers to me that I need to keep this blog. I really do. lol.
Christmas have gone and it's a New Year to spend another life and I plan to make this year remarkable once again. Last year was amazing. I gave birth to a healthy baby handsome boy that I couldn't believe I already love my whole life. My family grew bigger and I can't explain how I really am feeling. It's just amazing. He's very gwapo and cute and mabango. Halikamoy is ON and on repeat! =)) Grabe lang, I love my family so much!
Work is so-so. I am torn between resting for a year (resigning) and getting a higher paying company where in work-from-home and flexi time is on top criteria in transferring to. I am fine with where I am right now, but the salary has been declining so fast that a lot of people have been moving out like hot cakes! I've been asking for signs and I guess I've been ignoring it because I fear of losing my source of income to satisfy my own needs and let's face it, my kakarampot na salary still helps out in our house's bill, kid's education and R&R sometimes, so resigning all of a sudden is like not buying that lipstick, but still you bought it. Haha. So, yeah. I cannot wait until I am decided with what to do with my life.
Most of the time I just stare at the wall thinking of what might come next. I am excited to move in to our new home that is finally built --- in my imagination . Haha! We still need to earn the downpayment and work our asses off for 10 more years. My golly wow. How can we ever win the lottery if we don't bet?! haha!
Ok. I am done here. There's a lot of things to say, but I will just type it later. I am going to make my son's homework from last week which is to print photos from the Field Trip and paste it on a cartolina. I am back to Grade 1. :)

Yes it has and I honestly do have a lot of things in my mind that I wanted to share. I have to list it down though otherwise it'll all turn into dust. lol.
What has been up to me since my last post? (The lazy posting of something post)
- I got pregnant this year.
- I already gave birth.
- I *think* I might've had post-partum depression. I am not sure, but I might have.
- My child is super cute.
- I am thinking a lot of things that I want to do as an adult.
- And I really want to make them all come true.
- I have the time. I think I can balance this dream between work, being a mom and a wife.
- It frustrates me that I can't start any of it and I'm stuck being a corporate slave.
- I just wanted these dreams to come true.
- And I need to make it come true.
So, yeah. I've been pressuring myself lately and it agonizes me that I haven't started any of it yet.
Trying out blogaway app from my android phone as I am looking for a lazy way to update this blog somehow. Let's see if this will work. 😆
Aside from Tagaytay, Baguio City is one of the best place to cool down especially during this hot summer season in the Philippines. Travelling to this awesome place has also been shortened from roughly 9 hours to 5 hours. Thanks to TPLEX that made the short trip possible. It wouldn't be "that much" lazy to visit the place every once in a while, hehe. Most especially that we're able to find comfort in the middle of the forest that lays up at Camp John Hay.
This year, we went up to Baguio, twice. First was last March, and then 2nd was just last April 1-2. We enjoyed our time and our kids loved the weather, the activities and the food.
Aside from the usual Biking at Burnham Park, Picture taking with the famous St. Bernard at Mines View Park, hoarding Ube and Strawberry Jams at Good Sheperd and Picking expensive Strawberries at Strawberry Farm, we spent most of the time at Camp John Hay.
There was this small picnic ground with Mini Golf Course, Playground and Ground allotted for tents. There is also a mini biking area where you can rent bikes and drive around. Tree Top Adventure is also located in Camp John Hay, unfortunately I wasn't able to try it :(
During our first visit, we stayed at Travelite Express Hotel located at Burnham Park. Affordable and suits short trips especially if you will spend most of your time outside. Doesn't have its own restaurant, but it is surrounded by plenty of food chains. It's neat and cozy and good for quick visits.
On our second visit though, we decided to stay at the hotels in Camp John Hay. The Manor was our first choice, but all rooms were booked for April 1-2, so we switched to The Forest Lodge. No regrets as this hotel is super duper cozy and we really liked the place. It's built side by side The Manor so you can actually hop on both hotels since The Manor put on up displays at their garden. The Forest Lodge also have playground for kids (with fee though) and own restaurants called The Twist.

Isn't the place super cozy ? Only drawback is that their hotel rate does not include Breakfast. So if they do this, my 4.5 stars will be 5. :) But seriously I hope they'd reconsider.
Other things we did, Horseback Ride which my kids enjoyed so much. My youngest being scared of the St. Bernard insisted he wanted to ride his horse Magic all by himself. He's only 4. But of course that cannot happen. :) Also did Mini Golf once again and stayed mostly in the hotel since it's worth the stay. :) It has no aircon, which is no need since it's already cold outside and even inside! It was amazing.
It's a sunny day when we visited but the cool fresh breeze from the mountain is nothing compared to the polluted city of Manila. We will definitely go back and we hope to stay at The Manor this time. No big deal, but we just wanted to experience it :)

This purchase was just a sudden thought. It popped up in my head and decided that I would like to try Lazada's affordable products, particularly this one. A Portable LED Projector.

Currently, the item is sold-out :) But to my surprise, the product lived up to my expectation.
Our room is just a 16-ish sqm large and it's been our dream to have our very own home theater. Checking out projectors in the market was really a bit of an expensive haul and we thought of waiting for sale at the mall or second hand projectors we can buy online. But because Lazada has been emerging on selling affordable products online, I tried to check out one from it.
I ordered the projector the night of March 18, 2017. It arrived before lunch of March 19, 2017. I always purchase via Cash On Delivery because of security concerns, but Lazada always deliver so there's no problem with it (and it prevents me from purchasing more, hehe).
At first I had a doubt it would work, but yes it did. :) We tried it first by using white blanket we have, put it up on the wall and fired a movie away.

The kids loved it. And called it "watching-on-kumot". Because we used blanket for the screen. :)
Hubby thought of making it more like a part of our room, so he decided to groom it up. We checked out Projector Screen in Lazada and found some with prices ranging from PHP 749 and above. The description gave us an idea to just go for the cheaper one. Projector Screens are merely just Blank Tarpauline. So we bought a tarpauline at Ace Hardware which cost us PHP 300. :)
So this is how it looked like when we placed it in our room. It is 2 meters long.
We also mounted the projector on our ceiling :) This is just an improvision. I love how my hubby's mind work. :)
The projector can be used independently of laptop. You may directly use it with USB or HardDrive. It also have AV Jack and HDMI port. :)

Overall, I appreciated the product for real. It's a very good buy. Other buyers seem to really have liked it as much as I did. :) I am glad I purchased it, so now we have our very own Mini Home Theater. :)
