I can't help it, but I will not rant here. Nakakaloka lang po. Hay.
I've been shopping in Zalora since I learned about it. And today I had my eye on this beauty. The link to this product no longer exists, ha! when I shopped, there were only 2 left in stock. :)
It's the Makeup Revolution 100 eye shadow palette from http://www.makeuprevolutionstore.com/ . I know some reviews were not in favor of this brand/product, but I've got to try it myself, because maybe my own experience is different. Plus I am not really that make-up expert to really be into deep on this kind of product. So as long as it colors my eyes and help me look even prettier (yes I believe I am already pretty without make up on) then it's a good product for me.
This is worth PHP 1,390 and yes, I paid it on Cash on Delivery. Although you might say that COD can give you a little doubt that the messenger might not wire the payment, but it's already out of your hand. You've given them the product, you received what you ordered, meaning, the delivery guy handed you the thing and took your money. But nevertheless this incident haven't happened yet and I haven't heard any news/issue for such thing so I think it's still worth the trust that you choose COD. :)
It has a little crack though, and it's the black eye shadow, BUT, hmm I'm not really mad, I can let it pass right now. If it were more than 1, might've called Zalora right away. :) |
I will or I will try to make a review of this make up. Never really good at doing reviews, or even video reviews, I might try one time haha. So yeah, I'll blog again soon! :)
I will blog because I want to rant. But I will not rant. :| I dont know.. maybe there are things we cannot control in life. There are things that we can't define. Things happen for a reason. To make us who we are. I hope I can be better.
This is a late post, but whatever. lol. It was my children's first time to experience egg hunting at Easter and they were excited as I was because it was my first time too. :) I never had the chance to hunt eggs when I was young because we celebrated Easter differently. But anyways, it was all fun and exciting.
This was also my kids' first time to see the Venice at Piazza, Mckinley. Well, they didn't have any idea what the bridge was famous for, but still seeing a bridge over greenish water is still a joy. :) Taking photos as a guests (not an employee) felt a bit different. lol.
Joining the Spongebob's Eggspedition wasn't planned at all. We dropped my husband at Mckinley for he was going to work on a Sunday and just the right moment that there was an event for kids. Only that we needed to have at least 1K worth of purchase from any of the Piazza Establishments, I learned it as I threw the receipts I got for lunch worth 1,000 PHP. So to be able to join, I had to pick up/ beg/ ask for receipts from customers who didn't need theirs. lol. It was a bit embarassing, but it was for my kids so what the heck! :) They were the happiest when we got to enter the venue and played around and do stuff like jumping and making their own pizza.
My kids enjoyed all of the activities, especially the face painting, pizza making and the egg hunt. :) I did the hunting because they didn't have any idea what we were hunting for and I told them we were hunting eggs and there's a surprise in it. When we found one, my kids were estatic. Then we found another one, they were so eager to look for more! :) But alas, we only found two. But it's was ok. Next year, I'll prepare egg hunting inside our house with special gifts for them. :)
The Venice at Night. Isn't it nice? :)
It was tiring really, and my kids were both knocked down when we arrived home. They enjoyed it, I enjoyed it and they didn't stop talking about it and how proud they were of me for hunting 2 eggs and giving them the gifts. :) What a joy to give simple joys to my kids. :) I love them so much.
Today, April 2, is my brother-in-law's church wedding and my hair isn't looking well and I just don't have the time to do it like I used to enjoy braiding it. So I had it cut just cause. :D
My "Before" Look |
Visited Bench Fix today at Festival Mall, Alabang to push my decision to chop my hair off so there'll be no turning back, cause I was having second thoughts. But I told myself it's gonna grow back and tomorrow will only be a hair problem, so I really have to do it.
My "After" Look |
Last thursday, my brother-in-law's wife, his cousin and I went to have a relaxing massage and mani-pedi at Nailandia, BF Homes Parañaque. It was my first time there cause I don't live there and it's far from me and well I just didn't know the place existed.
Cozy :) |
There was only 1 massage room. :( |
SO dedicated. :) I felt like a Queen. |
The Ates who did my nails and ate on the right massaged me.
Hello, says my ginger-like feet. |
I wanted pixie dusts on my nails so I chose silver and pastel blue, which is +100 pesos. Look at those pretty done nails. Massage was OK, I wanted one so it's better than none. :)
It was all pampering and stuff and I love that I managed to relax even for a bit and feel good about myself by making myself pretty. Even if it's just once in a while. It isn't a crime, right? :)
So how about you? What do you do for Beauty Break? :)
For the longest time, we've never had any staycation and Easter egg hunting experience. My kids know about the egg hunting because of the movie "Rise of the Guardians". Last week's events made it possible, especially the weather really was getting into our heads and the only escape is to go someplace else. :) My wish from last week came true though ;)
STAYCATION @ VIVERE HOTEL & RESORTS
File from Google.com |
We checked other hotels nearby, but the rooms doesn't include children; instead of getting just 1 room for the 4 of us, we are required to get 2 rooms, which is not our option.
There were no changes *I guess* in terms of the buildings and stuff. It's the first time we actually were able to visit their other amenities because when we had our honeymoon, we stayed the entire night in our room. OF COURSE! lol. Anyway, my kids enjoyed the pool and their play house. And our room was very nice.
My kids rarely *as in RARELY* experience hotel accommodations and the space our room had, for them, it seems like it's really spacious. My youngest kept on running around, back and forth, sliding on the floor, checking his reflection on the mirrors. It's funny because he really liked the room, and my eldest loved the bed. They were so excited to jump in the hotel's Lama pool they kept saying it over and over that they needed to change to their swimming attires. :)
Our room was on the 22nd floor. :) In case we were given floor lower than 10, we'd request to be relocated at a higher one. Our room was an Executive Suite. Not bad :) I love it. Click here for more information about this room, and other rooms they offer.

The hotel also has an open access to its Rooftop Restaurant they call "The Nest". It was called Skyline before if you've been here before. :)If you feel like dining fancy and lazy to go somewhere far, Vivere's "The Nest" is a good choice. Nice ambience and food. :)
Of course, I didn't miss the chance to have my me time by soaking myself in the tub for almost an hour. haha. :)
This is all I can show you guys. Bubbles. :D |
OVERALL EXPERIENCE:
We booked our visit via Booking.com. I used to go to Agoda.com, but I guess booking.com is more convinient and more transparent. They won't charge you right away. You will be charged when you check-out at the hotel. So that's a plus points for me.Our experience for one night is superb. We were able to relax and enjoy our holy week, and the kids enjoyed it very much which is the most important thing for me. Vivere made it possible for my kids to just be kids and enjoy life. :)
Book your next staycation at Vivere, you won't regret it. :) Visit their site if you wish to know more :) http://viverehotel.com.ph/
Below is my review of the hotel. :)
Dislaimer: This is not requested by Payless nor anyone from their company. Neither a paid ad. This is just my take on my experience. :)
I will blog about something if I like it very much OR I hate it very much. :)
Holy Week have gone and as old people say, we need to sacrifice during this event of the year and repent from our sins. I've been talking to God for quite sometime now, my eyes are swelling. =)
Be Happy.
I'm not sure if you've read Pope Francis' inspiring message last Easter Sunday. It's really inspiring you guys.

BEING HAPPY by Pope Francis
"You may have defects, be anxious and sometimes live irritated, but do not forget that your life is the greatest enterprise in the world. Only you can prevent it from going into decadence. There are many that need you, admire you and love you.
I would like to remind you that being happy is not having a sky without storms, or roads without accidents, or work without fatigue, or relationships without disappointments.
Being happy is finding strength in forgiveness, hope in one’s battles, security at the stage of fear, love in disagreements.
Being happy is not only to treasure the smile, but that you also reflect on the sadness.
It is not just commemorating the event, but also learning lessons in failures.
It is not just having joy with the applause, but also having joy in anonymity.
Being happy is to recognize that it is worthwhile to live, despite all the challenges, misunderstandings and times of crises.
Being happy is not inevitable fate, but a victory for those who can travel towards it with your own being.
Being happy is to stop being a victim of problems but become an actor in history itself.
It is not only to cross the deserts outside of ourselves, but still more, to be able to find an oasis in the recesses of our soul.
It is to thank God every morning for the miracle of life.
Being happy is not being afraid of one's feelings. It is to know how to talk about ourselves. It is to bear with courage when hearing a "no".
It is to have the security to receive criticism, even if it is unfair.
It is to kiss the children, pamper the parents, have poetic moments with friends, even if they have hurt us.
Being happy means allowing the free, happy and simple child inside each of us to live; having the maturity to say, "I was wrong"; having the audacity to say, "forgive me".
It is to have sensitivity in expressing, "I need you"; to have the ability of saying, "I love you."
So that your life becomes a garden full of opportunities for being happy...
In your spring-time, may you become a lover of joy. In your winter, may you become a friend of wisdom.
And when you go wrong along the way, you start all over again. Thus you will be more passionate about life.
And you will find that happiness is not about having a perfect life but about using tears to water tolerance, losses to refine patience, failures to carve serenity, pain to lapidate pleasure, obstacles to open the windows of intelligence.
Never give up .... Never give up on the people you love. Never give up from being happy because life is an incredible show.
And you are a special human being!"
A blessed Holy Week to you. You are a special human being. Remember that!
Never give up .... Never give up on the people you love. Never give up from being happy because life is an incredible show.
How was your Holy Week?
The heat is scorching but we haven’t scheduled any swimming outing yet, but since School has officially ended and Summer break has officially began, we started it off by attending one of my godson’s 7thbirthday party. Haha!
Remember my post about my daughter's birthdayparty and how proud I was of myself for making the most amazing backdrop standees ever?! To refresh your memory, here’s a quick throwback. Lol.
I made my godson’s backdrop standees for his birthday with the theme Reel Steel. So that means, ROBOTS!. I was excited as I was going to make another one for my hobby, and at the same time I get to practice making more and looking at improvements I can make, there are lots of it but it’ll take time, but we’ll get there.
Making Atomand Midas is such an honor. Lol. Seriously they should be tall otherwise they won’t be considered “Astig” or “Cool” and I really had a great time making them. I was a fan I had a selfie with them. hahaha!
On his birthday party, I saw them standing tall and proud on the stage I felt like their real mom. HAHA! Sounds crazy but again the feeling is priceless.
My godson’s birthday party was a success! The kids enjoyed the party, good host and also the inflatable was murdered. Lol, just kidding! The kids obviously had a great time! My kids had a wonderful time and didn't care even if they were tired or whatever :)
Party host was Gen Galisim, she's OK, nice voice and nice dance pakulo for the kids and all guests and you can get her for your own party! :) (I'll get it and update this post)

Look how fun the kids were having, they killed the inflatables! haha. I'm impressed as this is a good quality inflatables, otherwise it would've deflated minutes when it opened. =)
So that's how we spent the last weekends, and hoping to spend the next ones MORE fun and exciting. And I am hoping for beach or pool or road trip. Haha!
